Fire Protection Compound For Pipework Installation
Quelfire QF4 Protection Compound maintains fire protection to fire compartment floors and walls penetrated by air-conditioning ducts, or service pipwork. When set it provides an effective barrier to fire, heat, smoke and combustible gases.
It is an inorganic cement-like product which is mixed on site. Once installed it requires no further maintenance.
It has been tested according to BS 476: Part 4 1970 and BS 476: Part 20 1987, and meets the requirements of the Building Regulations 1985, Approved Document B Appendix F.
